Purchase, New York qualification criteria

General qualifications for enrolling in studies at our site in Purchase. Individual studies will have further qualifications.

Potential study participants must be in good general health, be able to read and understand English, and have a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID. Study participants cannot be taking medication for asthma, diabetes or have any autoimmune disorder. Participants cannot be pregnant, nursing, or planning a pregnancy.

Men's Body Toner Spray for Acne-Prone Skin

Panel 5011
Males ages 18-70
To evaluate the effectiveness and tolerability of a body toner spray.
Testing Area: Chest/ Shoulders
Visits: 3 visits over 4 Weeks
Compensation: $200

Requirements:

    • Males 18-70
    • Fitzpatrick 1-3 (fair to medium skin tones)
    • Self-perceived / prone to acne on the body (chest, neck, shoulders, back)
    • Minimum to moderate body hair (no body hair on sites also acceptable)
    • Must be willing to shave and take photos of their chest
    • Must agree to discontinue OTC acne medication use at least 2 weeks prior to study start and throughout study duration
    • Must not have used any prescribed medication for acne within a year

Cream Mask

Females Ages 35-65
To evaluate the efficacy and consumer perception of a cream mask
2 visits over 8 weeks
Compensation $150.00

Requirements:

    • Self-perceived dull and photo-aging skin
    • Fine lines, and wrinkles (fine lines must be moderate to severe)

Facial and body formulation Study

Panel 4940
Female ages 35-60
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of two topically applied investigational products, a facial formulation and a body formulation.
Testing Area: Face/Body
Visits: 4 visits over 12 Weeks
Compensation: $450

Requirements:

      • Females 35-60
      • Self-perceived skin crepiness, lack of firmness, fine lines and rough skin texture (face, upper arm, knees)
      • Must be currently taking a GLP-1 medication for weight loss for at least 4 weeks
      • Must be willing to take photos of their face/body

Want to earn money by participating in our studies? It’s easy. Fill out our online application, and a recruiter will contact you when you qualify for a study. We test products for skin care, hair care, makeup, sun care, cellulite, anti-aging products, eyelash products and children’s products. Also see our social media pages for updates on studies and news.

Please note that due to insurance liabilities, children are not permitted in the office. 

Referrals are greatly appreciated. For each individual you refer, you will receive a $25.00 referral bonus. Individuals must be new to ALS and not currently in our database. Referral forms are available at the main office and must be completed by both parties and handed in on the first day of the study. Referred individuals must register, be recruited and enrolled, and complete their study for you to receive the referral bonus.
