Groundbreaking LOQs for metal in water
ALS launches V-2Q – an analysis package for metals in natural waters with our lowest reporting limits ever.
V-2Q includes the most common metals as standard, complemented by a selection of additional elements that can easily be added at the time of ordering.
The analysis can be used for self-monitoring, recipient control, and serves as a reliable tool for surveillance and studies related to, for example, the EU directives on drinking water, surface water, and groundwater.
The results can also be used as a basis for regulatory inspections, permit applications, and remediation investigations. The very low reporting limits also make V-2Q suitable for research applications.
Background levels and trend analysis
Background concentrations in unaffected waters are, for most elements, at a very low level, which places high demands on reporting limits. With V-2Q, ALS enables measurements with high precision at low levels – something that trend analyses over time require in order to detect changes at trace levels. With V-2Q, ALS sets a new standard for metal analysis in water, giving you the precision needed for well-informed decisions.
